CONTRADICTION OF THE CATHOLIC DEFENDER CONCERNING THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

One of the catholic defenders refutes to say that only God knows the judgement day and the son doesn't know the time and the hour of the second coming. As he posted on his blog:

but their so called "catechism of the catholic church",their official doctrine,clearly states that "Only the Father knows the day and the hour; only he determines the moment of its coming" without any objection.

Aren't he contradicting their own doctrine?Does it necessary to say "the son doesn't know the time" if the bible already said that "ONLY God knows"?Readers be the judge.
